This build-to-suit childcare facility was turned over to our partner KinderCare in the fall of 2019 and had a very successful ribbon cutting and opening in November. The school is located in the heart of the Wendell Falls community in Wendell, North Carolina. “Wendell Falls is a new community based on new thinking about ways to live and ways to work. We like to say it’s where small-town community meets big-city urbanity. And it’s located just 15 miles from downtown Raleigh.” The school is ideally positioned within the community, with great visibility and multiple points of ingress and egress.
EIG14T was engaged for the site selection process, completion of a feasibility study, taking the project through the entitlement process, and completing the construction from the ground up. We’ve also used traditional southern finishes including a farmhouse-style exterior which compliments the community beautifully. We’re confident that this school will be a great service to the community of Wendell.
